New Detroit Chicken Hand Pie
1 (13.8-ounce) Package Refrigerated Pizza Crust
2 cups Chopped Cooked Chicken (shredded rotisserie chicken works well)
1/2 cup New Detroit dip (made as directed)
1 cup Shredded Cheese (sharp white cheddar works well)
1 large egg slightly beaten
Serve with Greektown Garden dressing!
Heat oven to 450°F.
Combine chicken and New Detroit in bowl.
Press dough into 15x10-inch rectangle. Cut into 8 (3 3/4x2 1/2-inch) rectangles.
Place cheese onto half of each piece of dough 1/2-inch from edge. Top with 1 rounded tablespoon chicken mixture and sprinkle more cheese. Brush edges of dough with egg. Fold dough over filling, aligning edges. Press edges with fork to seal.
Place onto greased baking sheet. Brush tops with egg. Bake 10-12 minutes or until golden brown.
Serve with Greektown Garden, if desired.
